TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
In my early thirties, I felt invincible. I had achieved what I believed was greatness - a successful career, a thriving social life, and the outward appearance of having it all together.
However, as time passed, I started to notice cracks in my perfect facade.
I realized that my life seemed too good to be true, and that my accomplishments might be masking deeper issues.
From the outside, it appeared as though my success was a straight run to the top. But on the inside? Things were far more complicated.
Little did I know, I was racing towards a cliff I couldn't yet see.
THE FALLOUT
The cliff I'd been racing towards finally appeared - burnout hit me hard while I was working on my 2nd business as a trainer for other executive coaches.
I was pushing for perfection, crumbling under the weight of overwhelming anxiety—all while doing everything I could to ignore how terrible I felt.
Eventually, my body rebelled against my 'can do' attitude. Panic attacks began to ambush me in the middle of the night.
I realized a harsh truth: I could never be the "great" coach and entrepreneur I was striving so hard to become if my sleep was in shambles and panic attacks could paralyze me at any moment.
Freaking out, I threw myself into finding a solution. I researched obsessively, bought every book on the subject, and implemented every suggestion I could find.
The good news? It worked—fast.
The bad news? It didn't last.
WORSE BEFORE BETTER
I thought I had cracked the code. I was doing everything "right":
- Meditating regularly
- Taking more breaks
- Eating healthier
- Writing gratitude lists
- Working with another coach weekly
But despite my best efforts, the panic attacks returned with a vengeance—and they brought reinforcements. Suddenly, I was grappling with:
- All-day anxiety
- Nightly panic attacks
- Terrible sleep
- Debilitating brain fog
- Chronic pain in my neck, back, and pelvis
And the list of symptoms just kept growing. As if my health crisis wasn't enough, life decided to pile on:
- My 6-year relationship crumbled
- An attorney's error cost me my green card, forcing me to leave the US within weeks
- After settling back in Germany, I lost both businesses I had built from scratch with a partner
I had finally hit rock bottom. It was time to face the truth - I needed to completely change my approach.
UNRAVELLING THE MYSTERY
With everything I had built over years of hard work and sacrifice now gone, I finally had the space to pause, reflect, and prioritize my health. My journey to recovery was neither quick nor cheap:
- Over $100,000 invested in figuring out what was happening to me
- Countless hours spent researching and experimenting
- Extensive health education and coaching pursued with my limited energy
Instead of accepting defeat, I chose to fight for my health and future. My path was marked by:
- Continuous progress
- Unexpected setbacks
- Confusing plateaus that defied logic
No matter what I tried, true breakthrough seemed just out of reach. But I refused to give up. I knew the answer was out there - I just had to find it. I kept pushing forward:
- Experimenting with new methods
- Exploring different approaches
- Consulting various therapists, coaches, and healers
Then, after months of relentless pursuit, it happened: my lightbulb moment. The dots finally connected. I gained clarity on what had been missing all along.
MY ROAD TO RECOVERY
The lightbulb moment changed everything. Once I fully understood my personal root causes, I could focus my energy on the two main factors driving MY condition. The result? A massive leap towards full health and vitality. From there, it was a matter of:
- Patience
- Commitment to daily practices
- Consistent application of my newfound knowledge
And then, it happened:
- My symptoms vanished
- I wasn't just back to my old self—I was better
- I became a healthier, more sustainable version of myself
- I was brimming with energy, ready to take on the world
- I felt prepared to rebuild what was lost—and then some
As I emerged from this transformative experience, I realized my struggles had given me a unique gift - the ability to help others overcome similar challenges. I'm here to guide you in beating burnout and its many 'faces', including:
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME)

Now, I'm here to guide others through their own journey to recovery and beyond.
NOW IT'S YOUR TURN
Let's talk about you. What if I told you that you don't have to figure this all out by yourself? That what you're going through is unique in its expression, but the root causes are quite familiar. That you don't have to give up on your dreams and big vision. That you still have time to fix this, use this as a platform to grow and actually become better.
Imagine becoming:
- More at peace with yourself
- More connected with your friends, family, partner and kids
- More grounded, balanced AND driven than ever before
- More successful, focused and resilient than you've ever been
There will come a point where you can finally stop searching endlessly for answers outside of yourself, because you've finally stopped running away from yourself. It all starts with taking the first step.
Are you ready to reclaim your health, energy, and success? Let's start this journey together...
